Vincent Corrado the firm’s Director of International Tax.  Vinnie assists clients in resolving domestic and international compliance and controversy issues before the IRS using alternative dispute initiatives including Pre-Filing Agreements, Closing Agreements, Fast Track Settlements, and Appeals Mediation. He also represents clients before the IRS on various types of examinations, permanent establishment issues, examination support for Forms 1042, 8804 and 1120F and the competent authority process.

Prior to joining Andreozzi Bluestein in 2019, Vinnie served with the IRS for over 35 years and with PricewaterhouseCoopers for 8 years.  While at the IRS, Vinnie was a Senior Team Coordinator. In that role, he managed complex international and domestic examinations. Accordingly, he has an intimate understanding of IRS examination practices.  In the past, Vinnie also worked as Project Manager to evaluate and prepare IRS cases for trial.  He also has experience as a Large Team Case Manager and as a Quality Measurements Section Chief.

During his time with the IRS, Vinnie spent significant time working in foreign countries conducting IRS examinations of foreign companies. While on those assignments, he developed an expertise in communicating U.S. tax law to foreign corporate officers and tax officials of foreign governments. Vinnie was involved with tax examination and education efforts in many Asian and European countries, including China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Australia, Japan, Korea, the Philippines, the United Kingdom, France, Holland, Belgium, Denmark, and Sweden.
